Faith : An Avoid From Lord

 Actually, within the last five decades, I've ministered regular to college students and have talked in Baptist, Methodist, Charismatic and First Christian churches. I have amazing minister friends from every imaginable denomination. I also talked from the pulpit of a Catholic cathedral at my grandmother's funeral. I'm currently training a set on Cults at a 300-Member Cowboy Church on Thursday evenings for 16 days (two 8-week sessions). Yee-ha, y'all! It never ceases to impress me that I am asked to talk and I voluntarily get wherever He calls me.Religion: the term itself stems from the Latin word religare: re (again) ligare (to bind). My wife, the Registered Nurse, attests that this is where the term "ligature" originates from; a phrase which means "the behave of attaching or binding." For every single point we're asked to complete by our spiritual leaders.

But NOT on Christ. Not on the Body. Only tonite, I spoke with a Hindu woman to whom I said, "I'm not attempting to change one to Christianity. I am wanting to convert EVERYONE to Christ - including Christians!"

This is MY information to the Church, to Christians of ALL denominations. We are also frequently settling for Faith over Connection with God. He's NOT satisfied by our rituals, self-righteous functions, or our power to help keep denominational principles - not even the 10 Commandments. Frankly, NOBODY does hold them, regardless of how difficult we try. The Five Commandments, Paul claimed (2 Cor. 3), came with glory, but they are falling away, just as absolutely since the beauty of Moses'face also faded. The NEW Covenant not just has MUCH better beauty, but it's glory that "lasts." The Five Commandments didn't last permanently; these were developed as a temporary "ministry of condemnation," designed showing persons what sin was, they needed a Savior, and finally, cause individuals to Christ when He appeared on the scene.
